He was near Ferrari headquarters here, waving at and signing autographs for participants in Italy's famous, revived Mille Miglia race.

Many cars in the recent race were Ferraris, like the 1955, 390-horsepower Ferrari 121-LM, driven by George Shelly of Miami.
