Peter Waddell has an explanation for how he pilots a priceless 83- year-old luxury car through the fender-bending streets of Washington - - and keeps from turning into a nervous puddle on the seat.

"It's like doing meditation," said Waddell, 47. "Whatever you were thinking or doing before being in the car, you forget about, because you can't focus on anything but the car. I always feel better after driving it."
