The London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Michael Tilson Thomas,
performing "Benvenuto Cellini" Overture by Berlioz; Piano Concerto
No. 27, K. 595 by Mozart; and Symphony No. 5 in E minor by
Tchaikovsky. With pianist Alicia de Larrocha playing in the Mozart
concerto. At Ravinia Park, Green Bay and Lake-Cook roads in Highland

Mozart makes for a lovely evening, especially one as magnificent
as a cool Wednesday night at Ravinia Park. With the weather
cooperating and locusts chirping happily in the background, Wednesday
was the perfect opening night for the London Symphony Orchestra at
Ravinia.
The highlight of the program was Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 27
in B flat ...
