LONDON (AP) Richard Marquand, who directed the movie
box-office hits "Return of the Jedi" and "Jagged Edge," died Friday
at the age of 49.
Brian Vine, administrator of Kent and Sussex Hospital near
London, said Saturday in reporting the death that he did not know the
cause. The British domestic news agency Press Association said,
however, that the British director suffered a stroke last Sunday.
Among Mr. Marquand's other movie credits were "Eye of the
Needle" and "Until September." His last film, "Hearts of Fire," ...
