Sunday afternoon and Evellyn Olmem, who has had too many slabs
of that Sara Lee chocolate cake, is giggling, swatting snouts and
getting lovingly mauled by Stanley, Piggy, Crockett and Hardy.
Stanley, Piggy and Crockett are Alaskan malamutes, those
massive, fluffy, gorgeous Arctic dogs. Hardy is a Siberian husky.
Stanley is the big one dressed in the bowler
hat, a red wig and his snout is colored red for Halloween. Piggy,
so named because he eats everything, has a green snout and a
black-and-white wig. Crockett is wearing sunglasses and a Hawaiian
shirt.
There is orange-and-black crepe paper and Halloween decorations
