Article: Cambodian peace talks set for Paris

PHNOM PENH Cambodian Premier Hun Sen has agreed to meet resistance leader Prince Norodom Sihanouk in Paris in December in a bid to resolve the nearly nine-year-old Cambodian crisis.

Hun Sen said he had received an offer earlier this month from Sihanouk to meet.

Hun Sen said that although Sihanouk had twice canceled similar meetings, one in Paris in late 1984 and another in Pyongyang, North Korea, earlier this year, he did not think it would happen a third time.
