Half the battle of skiing is mastering the equipment and
clothing - and all the accompanying gadgets.
Gadgets for warmth. Convenience gadgets. Safety gadgets.
Gadgets you wouldn't believe.
For starters, just getting yourself and all your equipment to
the slopes can be a real challenge. Consider buying one of the new
devices designed to carry skis and poles.
The Ski Noose ($9.95), claiming "No Noose is Bad News," has a
black cord that attaches to the skis and is then slung over the
shoulder rifle-style (across the chest for children). When not in
use, the gizmo folds up small enough to fit in your pocket.
