Article: Gordon Tech rallies to uphold tradition

Gordon Tech upheld the Catholic League reputation of rarely losing a Prep Bowl Friday when the Rams rallied with 21 second-half points to down Public League champion Julian 29-14 at Soldier Field.

In the 54-year history of the city series, the Catholic League holds a 36-16-2 margin, including the last eight. Gordon is 2-0, having won in 1982.

Rarely in the history of the event was group of players as angry as Gordon's offensive line when it went into the locker room trailing 14-8 at halftime.
