CHARLOTTE AMALIE, U.S. Virgin Islands In the first compromise of our
marriage, Sandy and I decided to go to the Virgin Islands for our
honeymoon.
My vacations have usually involved hitchhiking or staying at
hotels where my highest hope was that the fleas would be too sick to
bite. Sandy likes cruises and resorts.
Not much of a compromise, you say? The Virgin Islands sound
more like Sandy's choice than mine? Possibly, but I've recently
passed 40, my back has been bothering me, and I thought I could find
ways to do St. Thomas and St. John inexpensively.
