Visitors can warm up to winter with a variety of activities
today, tomorrow and Sunday during Greater Woodfield's Winter Carnival
III.
Events include a ski festival and torchlight procession at Villa
Olivia, Illinois 20 and Naperville Road, Bartlett. The procession
will begin at 8 tonight followed by a ski-a-thon from 10:30 a.m. to 9
p.m. tomorrow. On Sunday, registration starts at 9 a.m. for
cross-country ski races. (Artificial snow will be produced if
necessary.)
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow and Sunday, there will be free
snowmobile rides at Compri Hotel, 800 State Pkwy., Schaumburg. The
big band sounds of Lee Castle and his Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra will
fill Woodfield Mall from 8 ...
