Article: New Civic Theatre series reaches for upper octaves

Neal Robinson has booked pop music acts at the Rosemont Horizon and earns his living promoting sporting events for large corporate sponsors. Now, it's time for a change of pace, so Robinson is launching a classical music series at the Civic Center for the Performing Arts' Civic Theatre, 20 N. Wacker.

Robinson's creation, the Great Artists Series, will come to life at 8 p.m. Monday with pianist Abbey Simon.
