NEW YORK (UPI) Experts Sunday denounced a new Masters and
Johnson study warning of twice as many heterosexual AIDS carriers as
previously estimated and proclaiming that the deadly virus can be
transmitted by kissing and less-intimate contact.
The study, to be released at a press conference today by the
well-known sex researchers Dr. William Masters and Virginia Johnson,
also calls for mandatory testing for the virus that causes acquired
immune deficiency syndrome.
"This thing is like pouring kerosene on the flames of hysteria
that public health experts, epidemiologists and virologists for the
