Article: Unbridled rage can be a problem // Learning to control your anger

If you think you're immune to anger, you're kidding yourself. Watch a 2-year-old fighting furiously over a toy, or a toddler screaming in his stroller, and you'll be reminded that the human capacity for anger is as much a part of us as is our ability to laugh at dumb jokes.

We're often angry - at ourselves, at our mates and at our circumstance. Learning to manage your anger - to control it and even use it to your advantage - will allow you to become what I call an "anger athlete," a person who manages anger well and doesn't suffer from its consequences. Anger, like lightning, can either destroy you or become a source of incredible energy that can charge up your life.
