PBS presents an "American Playhouse" production, directed by Andrew
Grieve and written by Jonathan Lynn and Barry Levinson. Airing from
9 to 10:30 tonight over WTTW-Channel 11.
If you never have seen the original version of "Suspicion,"
Alfred Hitchcock's 1941 psychological thriller, tonight's PBS remake
will keep you properly befuddled until the very end.
And if you already are familiar with the plot, this rendition of
"Suspicion" will be a joy to watch for the sake of some rich, elegant
performances by Anthony Andrews and Jane Curtin. Yes, Jane Curtin.
