Maybe Willowbrook should play Leyden every day.

The defending West Suburban Gold champions (7-12, 3-9) ended a nine-game losing skid with an 8-1 upset victory over second-ranked Leyden (17-4, 10-2) in Franklin Park. It was Willowbrook's second victory of the year over Leyden and snapped the Eagles' 10-game winning streak.

"It just seems we have Leyden's number," Willowbrook coach Tom Domin said. "We really expected to be a much better team this year, but we had gone into a team slump - hitting, pitching and fielding."
