Carriage Way, a condominium conversion project in west suburban
Burr Ridge, has turned out to be a successful gamble for Devon Realty
of Rosemont.
"We knew we were taking a chance being the first in this general
area to create a condominium conversion," said Robert Marshall, a
partner in Devon.
"But we recognized the need in the western suburbs for a product
that is still affordable to the average person who would like to own
property in an upscale community like Burr Ridge."
Carriage Way, which has 132 units in three buildings, began
selling as condos last August. To date, more than 75 of the two- and
three-bedroom condos have been sold.
