An updated Country French decorating scheme was designed for
couples who want to escape from the hard edges they face at the
office.
The Esprit model town house at Chateau Lorraine in Bloomingdale
has an eclectic blend of furnishings, delicately printed fabric and
wallpaper patterns, and romantically draped windows and skirted
tables and beds.
"Using a Country French theme is a nice way to show traditional
furniture without a heavy look," said interior designer Sally Auer.
She recommends unifying the various rooms of the home with one
carpeting color.
