`Every new building has its problems," Bruce Gardner (Tom
Skerritt) assures his young niece, Carol Anne (Heather O'Rourke),
after an elevator in the Chicago high-rise complex he manages acts
up. "But we'll get them before they get us, right?"
Obviously, Uncle Brucie hasn't talked much with Carol Anne's
parents, in California recovering from their bouts with supernatural
home wreckers. The spirits in "Poltergeist III" may lack expediency
- it takes them forever to drag Carol Anne back to the "other side" - ...
