In the July 26 installment of Georgie Anne Geyer's
interview with George Bush, she makes much of his foreign policy
experience, contrasting it to Mike Dukakis "having virtually no
foreign policy experience."
She lauds the foreign policy of President Reagan despite "some
foreign policy failures." Accepting President Reagan's successes,
could I ask what experience he had in the area of foreign policy
before taking office?
Also, what part (if any) did Mr. Bush play in either the
successful or unsuccessful foreign policy ventures?
