Article: Range Rover difficult to top as luxurious off-road vehicle

Iwas standing in muddy Wellington boots early this year in front of Major Hervey-Bathurst's castle in England after finishing a rugged, off-road driving course in the Range Rover sport/utility vehicle on his estate.

I had been quite impressed with the Range Rover. Despite its British upper-crust nature, it had resolutely moved along in high, muddy ruts that looked as if they would bog it down for the better part of the week.

It also could be driven at seemingly impossible angles on sides of steep hills.
