Out here, in the foothills of a great cordillera that has shaped
the contortions of this rugged Central American landscape, I can
almost guarantee that you will feel the presence of nature's awesome
design. You tell me that you are a city dweller with little interest
in the environment. No bother. What you will see and sense out
here, when we walk into the tropical rain forest, will not escape
you.
The sun is high in the sky, and the torrential rains off the
Caribbean 40 miles from this corner of Costa Rica are holding off.
Nature is awakening quickly today and we have much to see.
