Meet a red-tailed hawk, design a Mexican mask, create a
snowflake catcher, or produce your own video. Families can do all
these things and more during a variety of programs planned for
upcoming weekends.
Several wildlife workshops have been scheduled at Lincoln Park
Zoo, 2200 N. Cannon, from Jan. 21 through Feb. 26. These fill up
fast, so if you're interested, call 294-4649 now.
Two of the workshops are for preschoolers and parents or other
adult companions. "Barnyard Buddies," for children age 3, will be in
the Farm-in-the-Zoo from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Jan. 28 and Feb. 5.
Kids 4 and 5 are invited to attend "Animal Tales" from 10:30 to
11:30 a.m. Jan. 21 and Feb. 19. They'll hear ...
