Chicago's Remains Theatre and Wisdom Bridge Theatre - two
respected but recently floundering companies - are joining forces to
present the local premiere of David Mamet's "Speed-the-Plow."
The three-character play, budgeted at $100,000, will feature
Remains ensemble member William L. Petersen (best known for his lead
role in the Wisdom Bridge production of "In the Belly of the Beast"
and his starring roles in the films "To Live and Die in L.A." and
"Manhunter"). Also starring will be Remains member D. W. Moffett and
Hope Davis, a young Chicago actress, in the Madonna role.
