Article: Domino's Pizza finds Bush really delivers

WASHINGTON It would be hard to find a Washington-area businessman who was more pleased by the election of George Bush than was Frank Meeks.

It isn't just that he believes Republicans are better for business than Democrats are. Far more important is his observation that Republicans eat more pizza.

A peek at the phone list of the committee set up to organize presidential inauguration events, under the heading "frequently called numbers," told the story. Sandwiched there between "Bush-Quayle '88 Treasury" and "Office of the Vice President" is the name that Meeks has helped turn into a Washington institution - Domino's Pizza.
