LOS ANGELES A dancer never forgets her first steps. You can tell
Julianne Phillips is a dancer by her nimble air and noble legs.
Don't go by the inculpable look on her face. Her feet never fail
her.
Phillips was sitting at a table in the Westwood Marquis Hotel,
preparing to talk about the new Blake Edwards comedy, "Skin Deep"
(now playing at Chicago area theaters). She plays a vulnerable but
vindictive girlfriend of a compulsive womanizer.
Under the table, Phillips pumped the front of her white-socked
right foot in and out of her black loafer with the rhythm of an oil
