It is the time of year when vacations are planned and
anticipation is high. Many enjoy planning flights and ship travel to
nearby and exotic places. Reality sets in, however, when one or more
of the vacationers gets motion sickness.
The movement of the ship, airplane, bus or car can make vacation
travel a time of misery. Cruises on ships can become a blur of
continuing nausea.
Scopolamine hydrobromide is an old remedy for seasickness, now
readily available in a small patch worn behind the ear, where it is
absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream.
It is unfortunate that many physicians do not advise wearing the
patch for a week before going on the vacation trip. Side effects ...
