I hope you appreciate the fact that in "Our Favorites" the
featured food in the hand or on the plate every week is given more
than just a quick bite, more than just a
snack-attack-and-send-it-on-its-way report.
In-depth eating is the modus indigestion of this column. Think
of me as the Columbo of food. The Arthur Murray of eating. The
Geraldo Rivera of restaurant reports. (On second thought, scratch
that last one.)
