The following are Chicago's 38 residential landmark districts
that officially have been designated by the Commission on Chicago
Landmarks (CL) or the National Register of Historic Places (NR).
Five proposed Chicago Landmark districts also are included:
1. Arlington & Roslyn Place District, bounded by Arlington
Place, Roslyn Place, Lakeview Avenue and Clark Street. (Proposed CL)
2. Alta Vista Terrace Historic District, block bounded by
Byron, Grace, Kenmore and Seminary. (CL, NR)
3. Astor Street District, on Astor Street between North and
Division. (CL)
4. Austin Historic District, bounded roughly by Waller, Ohio,
Austin, Corcoran, Menard, West End and Parkside. (NR)
