Article: Clark Gable's son begins film career with new Western

CAVE CREEK, Ariz. John Clark Gable, son of the famous Hollywood star, is following in the footsteps of a father he never knew.

The 28-year-old son of Clark Gable is co-starring with James Brolin and Richard Roundtree in "Bad Jim," a Western produced by Menahem Golan's new 21st Century Film Corp.

The movie has been shooting in the desert plains and arroyos northwest of Phoenix, and so far young Gable has drawn praise from his co-stars and his director, Clyde Ware.

"I think he's got a lot of his father in him," Ware said. "He's never really acted before. He's a race driver."
