Korsair is missing.
He never quite made it from O'Hare Airport to Lansing, Mich.,
where someone awaits him.
He chose to say goodbye to his United Airlines escorts and take
off into the concrete yonder.
His escorts couldn't stop him, you see, because Korsair the
Belgian sheepdog doesn't understand English.
"The dog only understands French," said Northwest Side trainer
Mike Spacucello, who helped police search for Korsair after being
contacted by owner Daniel Paul, a native of France.
Korsair, a 3-year-old Malinois, had just flown in from Maine on
Monday when he escaped from his kennel on a baggage cart as United
handlers prepared to load him onto a connecting flight to Lansing, ...
