It wasn't so much the free-flowing Moet & Chandon champagne that
made me drool, or the nearness of the very lovely Anjelica Huston or
the gold-plated air vents.
What made this trip so special was the chocolate-chip cookies.
Sure, you can get warm, soft, freshly baked chocolate-chip
cookies at any sea-level shopping mall. But at 37,000 feet, they're
a kick. And on MGM Grand Air, nothing less will do.
Imagine an airline so steeped in amenities that in comparison,
flying the Concorde is like traveling steerage. With only 33 seats
and six pampering flight attendants in tuxedos, the jets of MGM Grand
Air are as lavish and excessive as the former hotel they're named
for.
