`To be quite honest, I'm ready to start writing my next solo
album," admitted Trevor Rabin, in response to a question of whether
it's difficult to balance a solo career with his responsibilities as
a member of Yes.
Though Yes had been dismissed as a '70s dinosaur band, the
material provided by new recruit Rabin gave the band its greatest
commercial success ever with 1983's "90125" album, featuring "Owner
of a Lonely Heart."
Since then, singer Jon Anderson has defected to join another
group of Yes refugees, including guitarist Steve Howe, drummer Bill
