From the former producer of the great "Late Night with David
Letterman" and the dreadful "Wilton North Report" comes a new daytime
series, "House Party."
No relation to Art Linkletter's old "House Party," a daytime
staple on CBS for nearly two decades, the new syndicated "House
Party" was created by Barry Sand, who also serves as executive
producer.
Hosted by Steve Doocy, a feature reporter for NBC-owned WRC-TV
in Washington, D.C., the "information and entertainment" show will
debut today on WMAQ-Channel 5, airing from 3 to 4 p.m. Monday through
Friday.
"House Party," a joint effort of NBC and Group W Productions,
will feature a rotating ensemble "family" of contributors and experts ...
