Article: Nuit St. Georges decent long shot

I'm sure Nuit St. Georges didn't have any of that fine burgundy from France in his system when he won the $100,000 Rebel Stakes at Oaklawn last week, but he certainly ran like it to become a fair long shot for the Kentucky Derby May 5.

His sportswoman owner, likeable Photini Jaffe of Oak Brook, did sip some of that Nuit St. Georges before and after the big upset for her homebred colt because she gets so nervous when one of her babies run.
