Article: Pucinski's wife critically hurt in fall down restaurant stairs

Elizabeth "Betty" Pucinski, wife of Ald. Roman C. Pucinski (41st), was in a coma and listed in critical condition Saturday after falling down a stairway at a Northwest Side restaurant.

Mrs. Pucinski, 70, dean emeritus of the School of Family Resources at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, was on life support at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge.

Pucinski, father of Cook County Circuit Court Clerk Aurelia Pucinski, said, "We've been praying and a lot of church people have called and said they have been offering prayers."
