Fans of chicken salad weren't timid about clucking over their
favorites in response to my Aug. 3 column.
I listed as my favorites Sweet Bean Cafe, 1112 N. State; Ed
Debevic's Short Orders Deluxe, 640 N. Wells, and Bigsby's Bar &
Grill, 1750 N. Clark.

Seeing as how chicken salad is an addiction that I am unable to
overcome, it was with complete glee that I read about this treat in
your recent column. The finest chicken salad sandwich that I have
ever encountered is at the Bagel Restaurant, 50 Old Orchard Shopping
Center in Skokie ...
