Buick's svelte 1991 Park Avenue shows how General Motors is
dumping its disastrous 1980s "look-alike" styling and mechanically
upgrading cars to better compete with the rest of the world.
And it's about time.
Because of the look-alike styling, many GM loyalists jumped
ship, hardly able to distinguish between even the automaker's top
models, such as the Park Avenue, Cadillac Sedan De Ville and
Oldsmobile Ninety Eight.

distinctive knock-'em-dead styling that comes directly from Buick's
