The ancient city of Trier's legacy is flourishing in Winnetka.
The ancient fortress of Porta Nigra, which was built to defend the
cradle of Western Civilization, is emblazoned on New Trier's school
crest.
New Trier is the only high school in Illinois that boasts its
own television studio, 26 interscholastic sports and 58 state titles.
It is a leader in virtually every educational and athletic
endeavor, producing more than 225 individual state champions. Last
