When she wasn't performing her cabaret act in New York City, Rainie Cole, star of "Always, Patsy Cline," now at the Halsted Theatre Centre, was a singing waitress/bartender at the Don't Tell Mama piano bar.

"There's something about me as a singer, when I would sing a ballad at the piano bar, when I'd finish, people would go, `Patsy Cline! Patsy Cline!' They wanted to hear a Patsy Cline song," Cole says. "I said there must be something about me that reminds people of her.
