If defensive tackle Chris Zorich had learned to pass-rush as well
as he learned to poor-mouth at Notre Dame, the league would have to
pass legislation requiring quarterbacks to wear armor.
But Zorich sings the blues better than he runs down
quarterbacks.
Must be the Lou Holtz effect.
A sampling of give and take with Zorich after the
Bears-Cardinals game Sunday:
Reporter: "Was your back bothering you during the game after
missing three days of practice last week with spasms?"
Zorich: "It wasn't back spasms. I just had a bad game. I did
everything wrong."
Reporter: "How do you feel about your chances of making the
team?"
