Stone Bridge celebrated its 40-21 victory yesterday over host
Fauquier to win the Virginia AA Division 4 Region II title, the
Bulldogs' response to those who had questioned whether they were a
playoff-caliber team.
Stone Bridge's single-wing offense is as potent as any in the
Washington area, utilizing misdirection and quick turns in the
backfield and several talented players who are capable of scoring
from anywhere at any time. After compiling 454 yards of total offense
against the Falcons, the Bulldogs had heard enough.
