Park View, Liberty.
Their programs had been the envy of high school football teams in
Loudoun and Fauquier counties, like Marcia Brady was to her younger
sisters.
No more.
For four seasons, a team from Loudoun or Fauquier has represented
Region II in the Virginia AA Division 4 tournament. That trend will
continue this season but not with the Eagles or Patriots.
Either Fauquier or Stone Bridge will host a Virginia AA Division 4
semifinal game. The Bulldogs and Falcons met in yesterday's Region II
final, which ended too late to be included in this edition.
