By his own testimony he was a cold and careless "lover," if love is what it was. No matter how romantic the moonlight on the beach (or on the lawn), the groping and rubbing provided little pleasure, passion or satisfaction for the lady on the towel.

Safe sex it was not. As a snapshot of how some of the rich and frivolous socialize and sexualize their relationships, this sordid episode ought to warn us about our expectations for the younger and poorer and less "privileged" among us.

We can throw condoms at teenage girls and boys on the assumption that they're reluctant to buy them for themselves, but how likely are they to use them?
