LOS ANGELES Indiana Jones can handle slimy gravediggers, poisonous
spiders, vicious Nazis, burning airplanes and even hissing snakes.
But can the swashbuckling hero brave the treacherous pits of
prime-time television?
The George Lucas/Steven Spielberg character enters the
small-screen temple of doom with "The Young Indiana Jones
Chronicles," an ambitious, risky new series set to premiere on ABC in
late February or early March.
The hourlong drama from filmmaker George Lucas ricochets through
the turn-of-the century boyhood of the archeologist/adventurer, with
some episodes featuring Corey Carrier as young Henry (Indiana) Jones
