The Museum of Science and Industry will be giving kids a genuine
take-home prize if its new exhibit on self-esteem also reaches
parents with the lesson that praise and encouragement are the most
rewarding gift they can give their children.
In "Kid's Stairway: A Child's Path to Self Discovery," children
can explore the nature of children's emotional well-being through
interactive video games, high-tech animatronic puppets and a
movie-like presentation on feelings such as anger and fear.
What better place than the museum to show families how praise
and encouragement help kids grow, and do it in a fun way?
