Embattled Bears halfback Neal Anderson is facing his critics,
including the most vocal, coach Mike Ditka.
"The things people say will not have an effect on me," Anderson
said.
That includes Ditka admitting he and Anderson have a strained
relationship. Ditka said he would make no effort to mend fences with
Anderson.
The comments didn't surprise Anderson, but he thought his
problems with Ditka were resolved in a meeting early in the
offseason.To Anderson, there is no personality conflict, and no
need for an air-clearing session.
