CHALLENGER PHOTOS: NASA released photos of the space shuttle
Challenger's smashed crew cabin, after they were made public by a New
York man who sued under the federal Freedom of Information Act. The
space agency said 45 photos that show debris from the wrecked crew
cabin became public documents after they were released Feb. 3 to New
York artist Ben Sarao. All seven astronauts, including New Hampshire
schoolteacher Christa McAuliffe, were killed when the shuttle
exploded in 1986.
