Dan Quayle, put down those golf clubs and head to your nearest
multiplex. This movie is for you.
It's "Rich in Love" (now playing in Chicago at the Esquire), a
warm and poignant film about family, love and even the miracle of
childbirth.
Let's start with the family part. This is the saga of a
Southern tribe where, uh, Mom has flown the coop, Dad is dating
again, and the daughters are on the verge of nervous breakdowns.
Oh, and love: Plenty here. Daughter Lucille (Kathryn Erbe) is
coveting her sister's new husband because she thinks she's in love
with him.
And let us not forget childbirth. Sister Rae (Suzy Amis) has
returned home pregnant because her husband (Kyle MacLachlan) ...
