LOS ANGELES George Lucas has shepherded Indiana Jones through Nazi
cabals, murderous cults and killer special effects. Now the
filmmaker is hoping his hero can survive television - the temple of
doom for excellence.
Lucas' series, "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles," returns to
WLS-Channel 7 at 7 tomorrow night. The two-hour episode includes an
appearance by moviedom's Indy, Harrison Ford.
"I'm walking across the burial ground of great artistic
adventures. It's worth doing and I'm enjoying doing it," Lucas said.
"But the `Brooklyn Bridges' and `I'll Fly Aways' - their bones are
all around me."
