First-time buyers are checking out the 73 new town houses and
apartments at Terra Cotta Village, near the popular Clybourn Corridor
in West Lincoln Park.
"Most of our buyers are renters who have lived in anonymous,
transitional buildings," said Ron Shipka, president of Enterprise
Development. "In looking for a first home, they want a feeling of
neighborhood and the protection that a one-entry, one-exit
development can afford."
Enterprise finished 40 units in 1991 at 1460 W. Wrightwood known
as Terra Cotta Lofts. The 1,000-square-foot finished lofts surround
an atrium garden parking area.
